Senator Ovie Omo Agege has emerged the Deputy President of the 9th Senate.
He defeated former Deputy Speaker Ike Ekweremadu by 37 votes.
A total of 105 senator elects voted and Omo Agege polled in 68 votes.
Senator Ike Ekweremadu on the other hand polled in only 39 votes
