The National Examinations Council (NECO) has postponed the 2019 National Common Entrance Examination into unity schools
Initially scheduled to hold on the 13th of April, the NECO examination has now been rescheduled to commence on the 27th of April, 2019.
This is according to a statement by the Head, Information and Public Relations Division of NECO, Azeez Sani.
Mr Sani explained that the exam date was moved forward to give states with low registration of candidates the opportunity to register more candidates.
“We felt the number of applicants are just too low for this year, hence we decided to give room for more entries.”he says
Meanwhile, a total of 70,720 candidates have so far registered for the examination.
